Quaystage Training Sail Camps

Quaystage Training’s youth and teen Sail Camps offer thrilling outdoor and experiential education programmes for young people. Our Summer sailing school programmes are youth sailing adventures based in, on and by the water.

Delivered by a passionate team of professional sailing instructors and educators the programmes are designed to promote teamwork, leadership skills and personal growth in young people. Combining a unique mix of sail training, marine science and a wide range of fun and challenging team activities.

Quaystage Sail Camps are also available to and customisable for school and youth group bookings. Our “Ocean Classroom” curriculum provides options for a more academically focused class trip. School Programmes

SAIL CAMPS

Our Adventure sailing weeks for teenagers and young people aged 13y up to 18y take place in the UK and Greece. Join a Teen Summer Sail Camp Yachting Flotilla and have the summer vacation of a lifetime!

SCHOOL PROGRAMMES

Our Ocean Classroom programme is designed to incorporate the experiential learning experience and personal growth outcomes of a sail training voyage into an academic set-up by providing educational sailing trips for schools and other youth organisations.

Expedition adventures

We are proud to be an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. All our programmes count towards the Residential section of your Gold DofE programme, and we also offer challenging 9 & 14 day sailing expeditions as an alternative to the traditional hiking expedition.

It’s time to take a break from the classroom and learn what life is all about? Our high-impact gap year & study abroad adventures are designed to help you discover both the world and your true potential!

SAILING COURSES

Quaystage Training is a recognised RYA training centre, offering Sail Camps with the full RYA practical and shore-based syllabus, delivered by DBS checked instructors. Whilst specialising the ‘Quaystage Training Sail Camps’ delivery to young people and schools, many RYA courses are also open to adults of all ages, outside of the school holiday periods.

My 16-year old daughter had an amazing experience on the one-week Buccaneer camp in July. The weather was great for exploring The Solent and Isle of White. The Quaystage hosts, Miriam and Ben were fantastic - balancing the right amount of freedom, fun and control! Thank you - we hope to be back next year for a longer trip across the Channel.

Our kids had a fabulous time with Quaystage this summer. They returned home happy, confident and with lots of stories to tell and new friends. The week was a good mixture of learning new skills, experiencing sailing for the first time, enjoying the outdoors and just messing around in the water or playing games on shore. They would love to return next year and hopefully they'll carry on sailing in the future!

Pioneer course was excellent for beginners wanting their 1st yatching experience. Lots of fun over 7 days with lots of self generated entertainment for the teenagers across teh whole week. Only small complaint was uneven storage arrangements between the crew.
